Security and privacy

Boxes Maker is dedicated to preserving our customers' confidentiality.  We don't share, sell, or disclose information regarding our customers to any other party except as needed to process and send buys.

Information Collection

Boxes Maker is your sole proprietor of the data gathered on boxesmaker.com  Boxes Maker collects information from our users at a number of distinct points on our Web website.

Registration

To be able to use Boxes Maker, a person must first complete the registration form.  During registration, an individual must provide a name and email address.  We utilize this information to contact the user if they haven't placed an order.

Purchase

We request information.  A user must provide contact information (like name, email and shipping address) and financial information (like credit card number and expiry date).  This information can be used for to fill customers orders and credit card authorization.  The information can be used to get in touch with the consumer if we have difficulty processing an order.

Cookies

A cookie is a piece of data stored on the user's computer.   A cookie is a small text file.  Cookies are used by My Boxes Maker and also the Boxes Maker order department so as to visually identify users, connect user documents with orders, and also to permit the shopping basket.  Our website can't be used with cookies.

Log Files

Like most standard website servers, we use log files.  This includes internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, internet service provider (ISP), referring/exit pages, platform type, date/time postage, and number of clicks to analyze trends, administer the website, track users' movement in the aggregate, and gather broad demographic information for aggregate use.  This information isn't linked to personally identifiable information.

Newsletter

Clients are automatically subscribed to our newsletter, we ask for contact information such as name and email address. Out of respect to our user's privacy, we offer a means. If you don't want to receive future newsletters, send an email [email protected].

Client Service

We communicate with customers on a regular basis to provide requested services.  Our production and client service use both email and telephone information to communicate with clients in relation to issues about the in-process purchase.
 

Third Party Intermediaries

We use an outside shipping company to ship orders, and a credit card processing company to bill customers for products and services.  These companies don't retain, share, store or use personally identifiable information for any secondary purposes.

Business Transition

In case boxesmaker goes through a business transition, such as a merger, being acquired by another company, or selling some of its assets, users' personal information will, in most cases, be part of the assets transferred.  If as a consequence of the company transition, the users' personally identifiable information will likely be utilized in a way different from that stated at the time of collection they'll be given choice consistent with our notification of changes section.

Choice/Opt-out

Our customers are given the chance to'opt-out' of having their information used for purposes not directly related to our website at the point where we request advice.  Users who no longer want to receive our newsletter and promotional communications can opt-out of receiving these communications by replying to unsubscribe in the topic line in the email or email us at [email protected].

Our websites may contain links to other websites.  Please note that we aren't liable for the privacy practices of these other websites.  We encourage our customers to be aware when they leave our website and to read the privacy statements of each and every Web site that collects personally identifiable information.

Security

Our Websites require every precaution to protect our customers' information.  When users submit sensitive information via the Web site, their information is protected both offline and online.When our registration/order form asks users to enter sensitive information (like credit card number or social safety number) that information is encrypted and is protected with the best encryption software in the industry--SSL.  While on a secure page, such as our order form, the lock icon at the bottom of Web browsers like Netscape Navigator and Microsoft Internet Explorer becomes locked, as opposed to un-lockedopen, when users are just'browsing'
While we use SSL encryption to protect sensitive information online, we also do everything within our power to protect user info off-site.  All our customers' information, not just the sensitive information mentioned previously, is restricted in our offices.  Only employees who need the information to perform a particular job (as an example, our billing clerk or a customer service representative) are granted access to personally identifiable information.  
Employees need to enter their password to gain access.  Finally, the servers that store personally identifiable information will be in a high-security surroundings at our co-location centre.If we choose to change our privacy policy, we'll post the changes to the privacy statement, the homepage, and other places we deem appropriate so our users are always aware of what information we gather, how we use it, and under what conditions, if any, we disclose it.
